Anjana Data adds new, more dynamic and intuitive features to its Data Governance solution

The new version of Anjana Data includes an evolution in the tools available to organisations so that they can extract the maximum possible value from data thanks to the operationalisation of effective and efficient data governance. The improvements in this version revolve around the evolution of the CORE Metamodel and the enhancement of the user experience. It also includes new components and specific views to simplify the search for objects for users and the consumption of information through the application's graphical interface.

Anjana Data v4.1 implements an evolution of the CORE Metamodel on which the Business Glossary and Data Catalogue are based, allowing users to add new attribute types to dynamic forms and configure new validation rules within the metadata templates of any object.

Regarding the UX & UI (user experience), the application continues its evolution towards a increasingly intuitive and user-friendly design with the aim of facilitating users' day-to-day activities in relation to data governance. Thus, this version focuses on improving the user experience when editing objects, reducing the number of clicks needed to make changes, as well as providing more detailed information without the need to move between different screens in the application.

Another new feature in Anjana Data v4.1 is a new component for the ‘Object Search Bar’ located at the top of the user interface in all application views, which aims to provide more relevant information about the objects searched for. In addition, the use of this component has been extended to other parts of the application where it is necessary to search for metamodel objects (e.g. to incorporate Datasets into DSAs).

On the other hand, in relation to the graphic representation of the data lineage, In this version 4.1, a series of additional capabilities have been included in the advanced 3D graphics library, thereby improving the user experience when working with this type of graph-oriented visualisation.

Regarding audit actionsa, a complete review of all automatically generated audit messages related to auditable actions has been carried out, resolving some issues detected in relation to the information displayed on screen. In addition, the capabilities of the ‘Workflow Design Tool’ have been improved in the Administration and Configuration Portal, giving users the ability to include more actions more easily and quickly following the BPMN2.0 standard.

Finally, several technical improvements have been made to various modules in the back-end of the architecture, resulting in better performance of the entire solution while also making some of these modules easier to implement and configure.
